Tips For Your End Of Lease CleaningCleaning your home when you move house can be a huge problem, especially if you’re stuck for time, and with so much to do with your house move it’s often difficult to plan and prepare for your end of lease cleaning. If you’re getting ready to move and you have concerns about your cleaning needs then here are some helpful tips for you!1)    Make sure you have all the cleaning products you’re going to need. You can’t clean your home if you don’t have the proper equipment and products, so make sure that your cleaning cupboards are fully stocked up. You want your home to be as fresh and as clean as possible, so make sure you have any antibacterial sprays, bleach, wipes, cloths, sponges and more. You don’t want to run out of products in the middle of your clean, so stock up before you start! 2)    Ensure you have enough time for cleaning.Cleaning your home is going to take a while, so make sure you can set aside the time in your schedule. If you’re busy with your job or your family then it’s important you ensure that your cleaning can still get done in a timely fashion, so try to make allowances where possible. 3)    Make sure everything you own is packed up.Your end of lease clean is going to be much easier if you have your home packed up. You’re going to need to move furniture to get around and behind it if you’re leaving a furnished home, and if your items are boxed up then this will be much easier! Your end of tenancy clean should come after you’ve finished packing, so make sure this is done beforehand! 4)    Ask for help when and where you need it.End of lease cleaning can be a big job, and you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Friends and family members may be able to help you, so call in any favours that will help you get the job done faster! If you want a professional clean then there are lots of cleaning companies who offer end of tenancy cleaning services, so look around to see what you can find. Ask friends and family for recommendations to avoid hiring unprofessional or inexperienced cleaners! 5)    Don’t forget any jobs that need doing! There are lots of little jobs that will need doing in your home, from dusting your picture rails to unblocking your sink. Go through your home and make a checklist of what will need to be done so that nothing gets left behind – you don’t want to give your landlord an excuse to withhold or knock money off your deposit! 6)    Speak to your landlord.Your landlord knows exactly what’s needed from an end of tenancy clean, and it’s always a good idea to discuss with them what it is they’re looking for. It could be that your landlord will be renovating the property or updating the furniture and appliances, which would make cleaning them more than a waste of your time! Check with your landlord to see if there are any items or parts of the property that don’t need to be cleaned, so that you aren’t spending any more time than you need to on your end of tenancy cleaning.
